TRIVOLTHERM® NKN is a KREMPEL three-layer insulation made of a polyimide film (e.g. KAPTON®) with a calendered NOMEX® aramide paper layer on both sides; TRIVOLTHERM® NK is a KREMPEL two-layer insulation made of polyimide film (e.g. KAPTON®) with a calendered NOMEX® aramide paper layer on one side. Use in thermal class 180 (H) or according to IEC 60626-3 use in the
insulation system up to 200 °C. The material has high tensile and tear strength as well as high spring elasticity and deformability. TRIVOLTHERM® NKN or TRIVOLTHERM® NK can be used in all applications that depend on an extreme thermal and mechanical overload capacity of the insulating material.
